Staff Frontend Engineer

Were looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer - Web Platform to join Procores Product & Technology Team. Lead the evolution of Procore&aposs Product & Technology as a Senior Frontend Engineer - Web Platform. Shape the experience for millions of global users by architecting core web platform features. Dive deep into building robust platform capabilities, improving design systems, creating web SDKs, and delivering cutting-edge developer tools. Partner with cross functional teams throughout Procore to deliver a world-class user experience.

This position reports to the Engineering Manager - Web Platform and is located in our Bangalore, India office. Were looking for someone to join us immediately.

What youll do:

- Drive evolutionary change in Procores Web Platform that enables all Procore web products
- Design, Build, and Test the Web Platform developer tools, sdks, and platform features
- Ensure adoption of new features and technologies via automation
- Utilize data to facilitate decision making and identifying opportunities to drive the platform forward
- Partner with Product to design and build new platform capabilities to meet business needs
- Serve as the day-to-day technical leader for the team, helping to set the roadmap, identifying areas that need improvement, and leading cross-team solutions
- Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
- Serve as a leader and mentor to other engineers within your team as well as other UI engineers within Procore
- Share your knowledge by giving brown bags, tech talks, or lead training and evangelizing appropriate tech and engineering best practices

What we&aposre looking for:

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience
- 8+ years experience in Object-Oriented Program fundamentals, Test Driven Development and System Design
- 8+ years experience working web/ frontend technologies specializing in frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Atomic design systems
- Passion for platforms, improving developer lives and eliminating toil
- Experience designing and building software that boosts developer productivity and efficiency
- Loves building solutions that require minimal effort to adopt
- Strong experience documenting and bringing team clarity to complex solutions
- Experience working remotely and with distributed teams
- Fluent in spoken and written English
