Company OverviewThe Jio World Centre located in Mumbai s Bandra Kurla Complex is a premier destination for business commerce and culture in India Developed with a unique blend of international design and local heritage the Centre features upscale retail cultural venues serviced apartments and the expansive Jio World Convention Centre As part of the Real Estate industry Jio World Centre boasts a vibrant workforce of 501-1000 employees dedicated to creating extraordinary experiences Job OverviewWe are seeking a mid-level Senior Engineer PHE to join our dynamic team in Mumbai This full-time role requires expertise in Plumbing Design Hydraulic Calculations and Water Supply for developing and managing sophisticated PHE systems at the Jio World Centre The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of related systems building codes and project management principles to effectively contribute to our iconic development Qualifications and Skills Proven proficiency in plumbing design installing and maintaining systems and ensuring efficiency Mandatory skill Strong expertise in hydraulic calculations for various building projects crucial for assessing water flow pressure and sustainability Mandatory skill Thorough understanding of water supply systems including sourcing distribution and regulations Mandatory skill Comprehensive knowledge of piping systems and their components design methods and operational reliability In-depth understanding of drainage systems including their design installation and routine maintenance processes Experience in fire protection system design and compliance with safety standards and regulatory codes Familiarity with building codes ensuring all systems developed meet or exceed established requirements and benchmarks Solid project management skills capable of planning executing and overseeing projects within time and budget constraints Roles and Responsibilities Design and develop innovative plumbing and hydraulic systems for complex infrastructure projects at Jio World Centre Ensure all PHE designs comply with local and international building codes and safety standards Conduct precise hydraulic calculations to assess optimal system configuration and performance Oversee the installation and commissioning of water supply drainage and fire protection systems Collaborate with architects engineers and project managers to integrate design solutions seamlessly Participate in project planning budgeting and resource allocation to meet deadlines and fiscal guidelines Regularly inspect and maintain systems to ensure continuous and optimal operation Mentor and guide junior engineers providing technical support and reviewing design outputs for accuracy and quality
