Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records ensuring compliance with regulations and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial management principles Duties Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards Manage accounts payable and receivable processes ensuring timely payments and collections Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts Assist in the preparation of budgets forecasts and financial analyses to guide strategic planning Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks Sage Xero and PeopleSoft to streamline processes and improve efficiency Provide mentorship to junior staff members fostering their professional development within the finance department Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support operational goals Skills Proficient in accounting software including QuickBooks Sage Xero and PeopleSoft Strong knowledge of financial services and financial management principles Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data Experience in financial accounting practices including preparation of financial statements Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail Ability to mentor and guide less experienced team members effectively Excellent communication skills both written and verbal enabling clear reporting of financial information If you are a motivated individual looking to advance your career in accounting within a supportive environment we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity Job Types Full-time Internship Contract length 12 months Pay 2 000 00 - 5 000 00 per month Work Location In person
