Role: Research Intern (2 positions)

Location: Remote (India)

Commitment: 15–20 hours/week (with flexibility)

Duration: 3–6 months, with potential to extend or convert to full-time Research Associate

What you'll do

- Conduct in-depth sector research across reports, filings, trade bodies, press, company sites, and .
- Identify and shortlist potential target companies against defined criteria.
- Build company profiles and research notes (ownership, financials, competitive landscape, risks).
- Track industry/company news relevant to the pipeline.
- Tackle ad-hoc investigative questions requiring persistence and rigor.

What we're looking for

- Relentless research ability and follow-through.
- Strong analytical mindset with clear synthesis of what matters.
- Detail-oriented, structured note-taking and documentation.
- Background in commerce, economics, management, finance, or market research preferred.
- Ability to understand drivers of success in industries and companies (unit economics, moats, customer acquisition/retention, operations).
- Self-motivated and comfortable with sustained, focused work.
