Job Summary: Collaborate with the business team to understand problems, objectives, and desired outcomes. Build ML/Statistical solutions to achieve the outcomes. Work closely with various teams in Bangalore and the US.

Primary Responsibilities

- Work with cross-functional teams to assess data science use cases & solutions
- Lead and execute end-to-end data science projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of data solutions with business goals
- Build custom data models with an initial focus on content classification
- Utilize advanced machine learning techniques to improve model accuracy and performance.
- Build necessary visualizations to interpret data models by business teams
- Work closely with the engineering team to integrate models into production systems.
- Monitor model performance in production and make improvements as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning and AI. Review relevant research literature and apply applicable methodologies or insights to address the problem effectively.
- Mentor junior data scientists

Mandatory Skills

- Masters degree (or equivalent experience) in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field with 3+ years of experience in ML/Data Science/Predictive-Analytics
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with standard data science tools and libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scipy, NLTK, Spark, Docker, TensorFlow, PyTorch, sci-kit-learn, etc.).
- Experience or understanding of deploying machine learning models in production on at least one cloud platform (GCP, AWS, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with LLMs API (OpenAI, Hugging Face) and ability to craft effective prompts to guide LLMs towards desired outputs.
- A creative knack for solving hard problems in statistics, machine learning, and optimization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and adept at working with multiple stakeholders
- Writing clear and concise technical reports

Good To Have

- Experience in the Media domain
- Familiarity with vector databases like Milvus
- E-commerce or taxonomy classification experience

What Will You Learn In This Job

- Building ML models using industry-standard frameworks
- Solving Data Science problems for the media industry
- Use of Gen AI in Media

Shift Timings: 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. IST
