Razorpay was founded by and in 2014 Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub Neobank for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India We are a full-stack financial services organisation committed to helping Indian businesses with comprehensive and innovative payment and business banking solutions built over robust technology to address the entire length and breadth of the payment and banking journey for any business Over the past year we ve disbursed loans worth millions of dollars in loans to thousands of businesses In parallel Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking via and enabling capital availability for businesses via The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Finance professional to oversee and manage key financial functions within the organization The incumbent will work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure efficient management of the finance function accurate financial reporting compliance with statutory requirements and implementation of best practices Roles and Responsibilities xefx82xb7 Manage the Overall Finance Function o Oversee the day-to-day financial matters ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the finance department o Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports including balance sheets profit and loss statements and cash flow statements o Lead initiatives for process improvements and cost control within the finance function xefx82xb7 Budgeting Variance Analysis o Assist the business finance team in budgeting process o Collaborate with business finance function to facilitate monthly and quarterly variances against the budget identify deviations and recommend corrective actions xefx82xb7 Monthly MIS Reporting o Prepare and present Monthly Management Information System MIS reports to senior management highlighting key financial trends performance indicators and potential risks o Ensure that MIS reports are accurate timely and aligned with organizational goals xefx82xb7 Coordination with Auditors for Statutory Audit o Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors o Prepare the financial statements as per Ind-AS including disclosures and footnotes o Coordinate the preparation of audit schedules and provide all necessary documentation for statutory audits o Assist in addressing audit queries and implementing recommendations for financial process improvements xefx82xb7 TDS GST Compliances o Ensure compliance with Tax Deducted at Source TDS and Goods and Services Tax GST regulations o Oversee the timely and accurate filing of TDS and GST returns ensuring adherence to statutory deadlines xefx82xb7 Implement Best Practices in Finance Accounting o Drive the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within all areas of finance and accounting Qualifications xefx82xb7 Chartered Accountant or similar qualification with 0-2 years post qualification experiencexefx82xb7 Minium 3 yrs years of experience in finance accounting auditing including articleship experience xefx82xb7 In-depth knowledge of accounting principles TDS GST xefx82xb7 Strong proficiency in financial software ERP systems MS Excel etc xefx82xb7 Excellent analytical problem-solving and organizational skills xefx82xb7 Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines xefx82xb7 Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departmentsRazorpay believes in and follows an equal employment opportunity policy that doesn t discriminate on gender religion sexual orientation colour nationality age etc We welcome interests and applications from all groups and communities across the globe Follow us on
