Position Accountant Job Location Goa Salary Best in Industry Notice Immediate joiners will be preferred Experience Minimum of 4-7 years of professional experience in accounting preferably in a corporate or large-scale business environment with proven expertise in handling complex financial operations regulatory compliance and tax management Experience with startups and knowledge of tax exemptions are preferred Regulatory Knowledge Strong understanding of accounting principles GAAP IFRS and financial regulations Education Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field CA ICWA preferred Tax Knowledge Strong understanding of Indian taxation laws including GST TDS and corporate tax Problem-Solving Ability to identify discrepancies and solve issues effectively while ensuring financial accuracy Enigmasoft Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Accountant to manage and streamline the company s financial operations with a focus on payables receivables and taxation The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations and supporting the organization s financial planning and reporting This role is pivotal in maintaining the company s financial health and fostering smooth operations across multiple geographies The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Indian financial laws and global practices contributing to Enigmasoft s long-term strategic goals Accounts Payable AP Oversee the timely processing and payment of vendor invoices ensuring accuracy and proper authorization Reconcile vendor statements address discrepancies and maintain a professional relationship with suppliers Monitor accounts payable aging reports ensuring timely payments and avoiding penalties Work closely with the procurement and operations teams to ensure all purchases and expenses are accounted for Accounts Receivable AR Generate client invoices in accordance with contracts and ensure prompt collections Reconcile customer payments and manage outstanding balances by issuing reminders and pursuing overdue accounts Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions and ensure efficient credit control procedures Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve payment discrepancies and disputes Taxation Prepare and file statutory returns including GST TDS and corporate tax Stay updated with changes in tax laws and ensure the company s tax practices remain compliant with the latest regulations Coordinate with auditors and tax authorities during audits and inquiries Implement tax-saving strategies and ensure the minimization of tax liabilities Maintain detailed tax records and prepare documentation for tax audits Financial Reporting and Compliance Assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements Reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data Support internal audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies Participate in budgeting forecasting and financial planning activities Ensure compliance with both Indian and international accounting standards Prepare balance sheet reconciliations ensuring accuracy in accounts payable receivables and general ledger entries Collaboration Process Improvement Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and increase efficiency Implement best practices for financial management and reporting to support the company s global operations Offer support and advice on financial and tax-related matters to other departments Day to day financial responsibilities Payroll Management Process and manage payroll transactions in alignment with company policies and statutory requirements Ensure accurate and timely disbursement of salaries bonuses and other compensations Calculate and deduct applicable taxes and contributions PF ESI etc and ensure compliance with payroll regulations Maintain employee payroll records and address any queries related to payroll discrepancies Work Hours The role follows work hours from 1 30 PM to 10 30 PM Monday to Friday with weekends off ensuring a balanced work-life schedule for employees Technical Skills Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally QuickBooks or SAP Advanced MS Excel skills for financial reporting and data analysis Familiarity with tax filing and regulatory compliance in India Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent organizational abilities and the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication skills both written and verbal for interaction with vendors clients and internal teams Ability to work independently and as part of a team maintaining accuracy and efficiency under tight deadlines Other Requirements Knowledge of both Indian and international accounting standards and practices Ability to adapt to a fast-paced
