Job Description Summary .Conducts inventory of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, printing and stationary for the rooms, linen, etc and report to the Housekeeping Manager. .Informs the Housekeeper to requisite for supplies as required for Housekeeping and Public area. .Carries out inventory-taking of supplies and operating equipment as required by the Finance Department. .Ensures that the Public area cleaning and maintenance are properly carried out by the Public Area contractor. .Ensures the hotel flower arrangements and maintenance are properly carried out by the florist. .Reports any pest-control issues to the Housekeeping Manager. .Conducts regular inspections of rooms, ensuring standards of cleanliness is maintained at all times. Ensures that Housekeeping services are conducted in accordance to the service standards detailed in the Operations Manual. .Ensures no defect or dirty rooms are sold to a guest. .Ensures the proper handling and control of lost and found items. .Conducts frequent and thorough inspections of guest rooms and Rooms areas in general, together with the Front Office Manager and/or Housekeeping Manager. .Ensures all daily arrival V.I.P. rooms, special request rooms, and long stay guest rooms are prepared with the appropriate welcome and other amenities. .Works closely with the Front Office and Engineering Departments to block rooms as necessary for maintenance. .Ensures all company minimum brand standards have been implemented, and that optional brand standards have been implemented where appropriate. .Responds to the results of the Consumer Audit and ensures that the relevant changes are implemented. .Works closely with other management personnel in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests. .Ensures Assistant Managers, Team Leaders and Attendants work in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments. .Ensures daily operation runs smoothly. .Ensures the cleanliness standards and maintenances are maintained and undertaken at all times in Public areas. .Ensures that all the equipment in the department is maintained in a proper working condition by undertaking timely scheduled maintenances in coordination with Engineering department. .Assists in keeping a track on the periodic work schedules, contracts and contractor's schedules.
