Position Overview The Founder Principal will serve as the academic and administrative leader of the new Edify School in Bangalore. This is a pioneering role for a visionary educator who can establish and shape the school's culture, systems, and reputation from inception. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, dynamic leader, and passionate educationist committed to building excellence in all dimensions of schooling. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Vision - Establish and lead the school's academic vision, philosophy, and culture in alignment with the Edify ethos and 3C Curriculum. - Build and nurture a team of committed educators who embody the school's mission and values. - Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students. Academic & Administrative Management - Oversee all academic operations, curriculum implementation, and co-scholastic programs. - Drive continuous improvement in teaching standards, student performance, and holistic development. - Monitor and ensure compliance with CBSE/IB/ICSE norms, as applicable. - Lead the design and execution of policies related to admissions, discipline, and assessment. Community & Stakeholder Engagement - Represent the school to parents, local community, and educational authorities. - Collaborate with the management to position Edify School as a preferred institution in Bangalore. - Build productive partnerships with parents and ensure transparent communication. Operational & Financial Oversight - Manage the school's budget, infrastructure, and resources efficiently. - Ensure optimal utilization of resources and adherence to operational excellence standards. - Work closely with the management to meet financial and academic goals. Qualifications & Experience - Postgraduate degree in Education / School Administration (B.Ed / M.Ed preferred). - Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in education, including 5 years as a Principal in a reputed CBSE/International school. - Proven experience in establishing or leading new schools will be an added advantage. - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Passion for innovation in education, student well-being, and teacher development.
