Company Description Egis is an international player active in architecture consulting construction engineering and mobility services We create and operate intelligent infrastructures and buildings that respond to the climate emergency and contribute to more balanced sustainable and resilient territorial development Operating in 100 countries Egis puts the expertise of its 19 500 employees at the service of its clients and develops cutting-edge innovations accessible to all projects Through its wide range of activities Egis is a key player in the collective organization of society and the living environment of citizens all over the world With 3 500 employees across 8 countries in the Middle East Egis has delivered over 700 complex development projects stimulating economic growth and enhancing quality of life Ranked among the top ten firms in the Middle East by Engineering News Record ENR Egis is committed to sustainable development The Group s operations in the Middle East are built on strategic acquisitions and a deep understanding of local market conditions Egis long history of providing comprehensive engineering consulting and project management services makes it a trusted partner for regional governments investors and developers We are seeking a motivated and Junior Sustainability Consultant to join our growing Middle East Asia team As a key member of our sustainability practice you will contribute to developing innovative solutions that help our clients achieve their environmental and social responsibility goals This is a full-time position based in Bangalore office Fundamental knowledge of international sustainability certification frameworks like LEED WELL etc Experience with Middle East projects on local frameworks such as Estidama Mostadam is a plus Conduct sustainability assessments for various client projects Contribute to the development of sustainability strategies on projects in coordination with the wider team Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on sustainability features embedded in the project design Provide technical advice on sustainable design and construction practices Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure sustainability requirements are understood and implemented Stay up-to-date with emerging trends technologies and best practices in sustainability Assist in calculating carbon footprints and conducting life cycle assessments for products and service Qualifications A minimum of 6 to 12 months of experience in Sustainability or related fields Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science Sustainability Engineering or a related field Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide meaningful insights Excellent research skills and attention to detail Excellent planning and organization skills for keeping up with fast-paced settings Knowledge of sustainability aspects of the built environment Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Word Excel and PowerPoint Excellent presentation communication and graphical presentation skills Microsoft PowerPoint Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously Experience working in a multi-dynamic MNC culture and working with international projects is beneficial
