effectiveness of the banks internal control framework to support the mitigation of risk and protection of the banks operational financial and reputational risk xc3 x82 xc3 x82Accountabilities Identification and analysis of emerging and evolving risks across functions to understand their potential impact and likelihood Communication of the purpose structure and importance of the control framework to all relevant stakeholders including senior management and audit Extensive experience in Internal Audit Control Business Partnership Controls Assurance Testing and Operational Risk Management Support to the development and implementation of the bank s internal controls framework and principles tailored to the banks specific needs and risk profile including design monitoring and reporting initiatives xc3 x82 xc3 x82 Monitoring and maintenance of the control s frameworks to ensure compliance and adjust and update as internal and external requirements change Embedment of the control framework across the bank through cross collaboration training sessions and awareness campaigns which fosters a culture of knowledge sharing and improvement in risk management and the importance of internal control effectiveness Assistant Vice President Expectations Consult on complex issues providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies procedures in support of the control and governance agenda Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function Collaborate with other areas of work for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information internal and external sources such as procedures and practises in other areas teams companies etc to solve problems creatively and effectively Communicate complex information Complex
