WE ARE HIRING Role : Snowflake Administrator Experience : 3+ Yrs Location: Any HCL Location and Hybrid Required Qualifications:3+ years of experience administering Snowflake in a production environment.Strong experience with Azure Cloud services and architecture.Proven expertise in implementing RBAC, RLS, and CLS policies in Snowflake.Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake scripting, and data modeling.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Azure DevOps).Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and documentation abilities.Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Snowflake Administrator with hands-on experience in Azure Cloud to manage, optimize, and secure our Snowflake data platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, performance tuning, and integration of Snowflake within our Azure ecosystem, ensuring high availability, scalability, and data governance. Key Responsibilities: Snowflake Administration:Provision, configure, and manage Snowflake environments including warehouses, databases, schemas, roles, and users.Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, storage usage, and query efficiency.Implement and manage data sharing, replication, and failover strategies.Automate administrative tasks using Snowflake scripting and tools. Azure Cloud Integration:Integrate Snowflake with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Synapse, and Azure Key Vault.Manage data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows between Snowflake and Azure.Ensure secure connectivity and data transfer using Azure Private Link, VNet integration, and IAM roles. Security & Compliance:Design and implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) strategies to manage user permissions and data access.Develop and enforce Row-Level Security (RLS) and Column-Level Security (CLS) policies to ensure granular data protection.Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).Conduct regular audits and manage encryption keys and secrets. Monitoring & Support:Set up monitoring and alerting for Snowflake usage and performance.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data access, performance, and integration.Provide support to data engineering and analytics teams. Documentation & Collaboration:Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, and DevOps. Preferred Skills:Snowflake SnowPro Certification.Azure Administrator or Azure Data Engineer Certification.Experience with Python or other scripting languages.Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
