Job Description Role Description We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Tester with expertise in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing using Java and Selenium. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications by designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans and automation scripts. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans for functional, regression, and integration testing. - Perform manual testing to identify bugs and validate new features. - Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG/JUnit. - Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and report defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. - Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured. - Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives). - Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and framework efficiency. - Mentor junior QA team members and review their test deliverables. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in Software Testing (Manual + Automation). - Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, and TestNG/JUnit. - Experience with API testing, SQL queries, and backend validation. - Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, or other CI/CD tools. - Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with BDD tools (Cucumber, Serenity). - Exposure to Performance Testing (JMeter, LoadRunner). - Knowledge of mobile app testing (Appium). - Understanding of cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure). Key Attributes: - Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking. - Proactive, self-motivated, and a team player. - Commitment to delivering high-quality software. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Trivandrum(No work-from-home or hybrid options are available ) - Profiles with less than 4 years of experience will not be considered.
