Company Description You see things a little differently So do we At IKEA we believe that what you value is more important than what your CV says We offer positions that will challenge your skills and let you grow Come see things a little differently with us Inter IKEA Group brings together three areas Retail Concept Range and Supply Together we work constantly to improve the IKEA home furnishing offer and make it more accessible for the many people The role of IKEA Supply is to supply the IKEA range at the lowest total cost making high quality available to the customer under good social and environmental conditions This position shall be based out of Bangalore India office Are you passionate about the IKEA business culture and values Do you also have a passion for the well-being of people and therefore an extensive interest in risk management and health safety and security Then this opportunity might be for you The IKEA business is focused on opportunities and involves risk taking every day At Inter IKEA Group these risks are taken in a compliant and responsible way The Risk Management Compliance function leads steers and supports the business to safeguard the IKEA brand by identifying anticipating on navigating through opportunities and risks on the base of IKEA values and culture Together with effective monitoring and follow-up this leads to risk aware decision taking and practical business control Risk Management Compliance works closely together with the various organizational levels and provides support to Strengthen the IKEA brand and protect our assets Maintain an overall safety security aware culture Steer and lead compliance activities About the job The role as Risk Safety Leader will proactively lead and support the business in the region within Asia Pacific with focus on risk management safety and security You are expected to be a valued business partner that drives for sustainable solutions proactively influences managers and co-workers to establish a risk aware culture About the assignment As a Risk Safety Leader you are expected to work together with the Risk Compliance manager to support the development of the business Supply Area units Wholesale units Manufacturing units Business Units by helping the business to identify and manage risks You lead and coordinate a Network Matrix organization of local Site Management Risk Safety and Security responsible towards established goals within the scope of Risk and Compliance agenda to ensure compliance with Inter IKEA Group Policies standards and working methods as well as local legal demands Accomplishing this by following our Governance Risk Compliance cycle You will work with businesses to increase risk insight identification and mitigation using the risk methodology and to ensure consistency in approach You will need to have strong leadership and facilitator skills to create values for Risk Compliance through reviews and trainings You will also work in partnership with the Management Teams regarding sensitive issues Furthermore your tasks will be Support and enable the Inter IKEA Group Crisis Management Methodology and Businesses Continuity Methodology by training the units in scope and support them during activation On request support the Ethics and Integrity global team on investigations and non-compliance towards the Code of Conduct Act in a proactive way with the business to identifying existing risks analyzing trends and emerging risks and proactively mitigate these minimizing impact or likelihood Enable the business to consistently report through tools or templates Individual development and identify talents to secure succession planning Frequent business travel is expected Qualifications To be successful in this role you must have the following attributes University degree in any subject Relevant Risk and Compliance experience in the total Supply Chain End to End for Asia Pacific Region of 10 years preferable Very Strong leadership management skills and experience with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders Strong understanding of governance structure and steering documents Extensive knowledge and experience of risk management frameworks including Safety Security Supply Chain Security and Ethics and Integrity Strong working knowledge and experience with change management process Business professional facilitation and communication skills and able to present and motivate with impact Ability to inspire people by using strong coaching influencing communication writing and listening skills Ability to create implement execute and follow up on plans to deliver outstanding results Extensive knowledge of relevant health safety and security policies standards rules manuals tools and working methods Ability to transfer knowledge High integrity and level of independence lead by example Fluency in spoken and written English and preferred fluent in local language Additional Information Sounds interesting Please send us your application -
