Job Title Nursery Assistant Location Namchi Sikkim India Job Summary Mainaam Garden Nursery is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team The ideal candidate will assist with all aspects of nursery operations ensuring the healthy growth and maintenance of our diverse plant collection including Cymbidium orchids roses and other garden plants Key Responsibilities Plant Care Assist in the sowing planting potting trimming and pruning of plants ensuring they receive adequate water nutrients and sunlight Maintenance Maintain plant beds and nursery areas by mixing compost or other planting mediums and identifying and managing weeds pests and diseases Environmental Management Assist with breeding seed creation cloning transplanting and pest management Inventory Management Keep track of plant inventory ensuring all plants are labeled and displayed correctly Qualifications Prior experience in a nursery or garden center preferred Basic knowledge of plant care and maintenance Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and manage plant health issues Horticulture Graduates Preferred Benefits Competitive salary Opportunity to work with a diverse range of plants Professional growth and development opportunities Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 8 086 00 - 10 000 00 per month Benefits Paid sick time Schedule Day shift Experience total work 1 year Preferred Work Location In person
