Job Overview: We are looking for a hands-on, field-oriented Sales Manager to drive retail penetration of Healthy Bites products across local kirana stores, modern trade outlets, cafes, canteens, and relevant point-of-sale locations in and around Jamshedpur. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in FMCG retail distribution, a strong network in the local market, and the ability to lead a field team to achieve revenue and placement targets.Key Responsibilities:1. Retail Penetration & Sales Execution: Identify, visit, and onboard local kirana shops, supermarkets, cafés, gyms, canteens, and other relevant retail outlets in and around Jamshedpur. Develop and manage a retailer database for coverage, sales volume, and order cycles. Ensure regular order placement, timely product delivery, and payment collections. 2. Distribution Expansion: Appoint and manage local distributors or stockists for assigned territories. Maintain healthy relationships with existing distribution partners and explore new partnerships for deeper market reach. Monitor distributor stock levels and reorder points to avoid stockouts or overstocking. 3. Sales Target Achievement: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales, coverage, and visibility targets set by the company. Track outlet-wise sales performance and take corrective action to improve underperforming zones. Maintain and share daily/weekly field activity and sales reports with the regional sales head. 4. Merchandising & POS Execution: Ensure effective in-store merchandising, branding, and visibility of Healthy Bites products. Coordinate the placement of point-of-sale materials (posters, wobblers, standees) in high-traffic locations. Organize and support in-store sampling, promotions, and product demo campaigns. 5. Team & Market Coordination: Supervise a small team of field sales representatives (if applicable). Train and motivate field executives or promoters on product knowledge, pitch, and placement. Gather and report competitor activity, pricing changes, and new launches to the sales team.Key Skills & Requirements: Strong retail sales and negotiation skills. Understanding of FMCG distribution models (primary, secondary sales). Local market knowledge of Jamshedpur and nearby towns. Fluency in Hindi and basic English; knowledge of regional languages is a plus. Proficient in using mobile apps, Excel, and basic reporting tools.
