Godown Supervisor

Job Summary The Rice Godown Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the rice storage facility This includes ensuring proper storage practices inventory management team supervision and adherence to safety standards to ensure the efficient handling and safeguarding of rice stock Key Responsibilities Inventory Management Maintain accurate records of stock levels and ensure data is regularly updated in inventory systems Conduct periodic stock checks and audits to ensure consistency between physical inventory and system records Manage the receipt and dispatch of rice ensuring that the correct quantity and quality are recorded Oversee the arrangement of rice stocks to optimize space and maintain easy access Ensure that storage conditions are optimal to prevent spoilage infestation or damage Implement proper labeling and categorization for ease of identification and tracking Manage a team of warehouse staff assign daily tasks and monitor performance Provide training and guidance to staff on safe and efficient handling procedures Ensure staff compliance with safety regulations and operational standards Inspect incoming rice consignments for quality and report any discrepancies or damage Monitor rice conditions and manage pest control and other preventive measures to safeguard stock quality Coordinate with quality assurance teams for periodic assessments Qualification- Minimum graduate Should know know how to read and write and understand english Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 8 000 00 - 9 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Experience total work 1 year Preferred Work Location In person
