Job Description

Role purpose: To do CICD Engineering for building CICD Platform and to ensure the availability and performance of our applications, toolset, and platform, as well as helping to drive improvements and enhancements at scale.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

.Excellent Telecom background/Knowledge.
.Proficient in Cloud Computing (AWS),
.Design, Implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of AWS services as per application setup.
.Container Management (Kubernetes, Docker) for application deployment, troubleshooting and maintenance.
.Terraform for Infra as Code for creating AWS resources and configuration
.Helm Chart for Kubernetes Deployment
.ArgoCD to manage Kubernetes Applications deployment.
.Version /Source control and CI/CD implementation (Github, Github Actions, Nexus)
.Observability-as-code (Datadog/Splunk) for E2E monitoring.
.Programming and scripting (YAML, Java, PowerShell, Groovy, Python)
.Security-by-design, (SAST,DAST,IAST)
.Working knowledge of Agile Methods (SAFe, Scrum, DevOps)

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

.Project Management with architecture planning knowledge, participate in NFR refinement and new requirements analysis (collaboration with stakeholders)
.Ensure NFRs (Availability, Security, Reliability, Performance, Maintainability, Scalability, Usability, Rollback, Restore & Recover, Error Handling, Capacity planning and forecasting, Monitoring, etc.) and operational requirements are implemented.
.Build and maintain high-performance, fault-tolerant, secure, and scalable application platforms based upon needs of the users.
.Implement high level of automation.
.Design and Ensure DevOps KPIs and drive cost optimization for cloud services.
.Excellent application/infra troubleshooting skills.
.Implement deployment lifecycle across all the stages (dev/test/prod).
.Ability to oversee and mentor junior software developers.
.Problem solving and result oriented attitude.Build, maintain, and collaborate on future ready platforms with the customer centric approach.
