Senior Consultant

Role: Consultant/ Senior Consultant (MedTech/Medical devices) Experience: 7 - 13 Years Location: Bangalore/Gurgaon/Pune Job Description: Principally responsible for interpreting data, formulating reports, and making recommendations based on primary research, secondary research, and secondary data assets. Should be able to apply qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret data and produce substantiated recommendations. Must have strong knowledge of the MedTech industry. Responsibilities: - Lead project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project data, and coordinating team meetings - Communicate with clients/stakeholders to understand and document business objectives - Design and execute qualitative or quantitative analyses to help clients improve their commercial effectiveness - Design questionnaires and moderator guides to ensure necessary data is captured - Leverage business experience and acumen in identifying strategic alternatives to client questions - Author PowerPoint reports answering key client questions and actionable recommendations - Provide thought leadership and innovation within projects and MedTech practice areas - Support in business development by preparing proposals and new product offerings - Collaborate with different teams to work on integrated projects - Manage internal and external cross-functional stakeholders to support product development - Develop broad knowledge of related methodologies in the MedTech market through consulting engagements and learning opportunities - Design and implement analytics solutions, market sizing, and forecasting models to address business problems - Handle various aspects of primary market research and consulting assignments - Coach and mentor junior team members - Develop go-to-market strategies, pricing, and portfolio optimization recommendations for MedTech clients - Provide competitive intelligence and trend analysis to inform client decisions - Utilize real-world evidence (RWE), claims data, and for deeper insights - Apply advanced analytics techniques (predictive modeling, segmentation, conjoint analysis) to support strategic recommendations - Incorporate regulatory pathways, reimbursement frameworks, and HTA considerations into recommendations - Advice on emerging MedTech trends, AI-enabled devices, and remote monitoring solutions impacting MedTech adoption Requirements: - 8-14 years' experience in market research in MedTech/biotech/healthcare industry - B. Pharm / M. Pharma / B.Tech (Biotechnology) / M.Tech (Biotechnology) / MBA (pharmaceutical management) /Other medical (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPT) / life science degrees - Excellent verbal and written communication - Analytic problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative outlook - Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset - Aptitude for independently managing projects - Working independently and as part of a team - Strong quantitative skills for MedTech studies, modeling, market sizing and forecasting, project management etc - Basic understanding in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and advanced statistical packages (R, Python, SAS) - Strong understanding of MedTech commercial models, pricing strategies, and distribution channels - Familiarity with global MedTech markets, regulatory environments, and emerging technologies - Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and drive strategic outcomes
