Responsibilities

This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience. As an Engineering Co-op, you will be responsible for:

- Designing and Programming a Glue Robot for manufacturing of ultrasound probe

Skills

This position may suit you best ifyou are familiar with the areas and concepts below, and would like to develop your skills within Healthineers:

- motion control and factory automation.
- stepper motors, stepper motor control, general electronic sensor integration.
- microcontroller programming in C or C-like languages.
- mechanical layout using SolidWorks or similar.
- video monitoring of mechanical processes.
- user interface development.
- mechanical jigs and holding structures for manufacture of medical devices.

Required skills and education to have for the success of this role:

- Currently enrolled in a BS or MS degree program, majoring in electrical or computer engineering
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)
- Experience with 3D printing and G code
- Mechanical aptitude desired. Comfortable with hand and power tools.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00 hourly; however, base pay offered may vary depending on education, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers interns paid time off.

The Annual Base Pay For This Position Is

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company&aposs plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
