Role Description This is a full-time on-site role in Kolkata for an Article Assistant. The Article Assistant will assist with statutory and internal audits, prepare financial reports, and support tax filings, including direct and indirect taxes such as Income Tax and GST. The role involves researching financial compliance, assisting in corporate law filings, supporting startup and MSME advisory, and helping with business structuring and planning. Candidates will collaborate closely with senior professionals to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery to clients. Qualifications - Proficiency in accounting, financial reporting, and bookkeeping - Strong understanding of taxation, including Income Tax and GST compliance, and corporate law advisory - Knowledge of audit processes such as statutory audits, internal audits, and financial analysis - Good analytical skills and attention to detail for business structuring and succession planning - Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office tools - Effective written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Pursuing or completed CA Articleship is mandatory - Familiarity with startup and MSME advisory is a plus
