We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Linux Administrator with 6-8 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux-based systems, ensuring their availability, security and performance. You will work closely with our development teams to support our applications and services. The role requires a proactive, can-do attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Administer, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems
- Manage and monitor system performance, availability, and security
- Collaborate with development teams to support applications and services
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and outages
- Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware
- Create and maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and processes
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support as needed

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration
- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, including Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu
- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMWare and KVM
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Perl
- Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Experience with monitoring tools, such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus
- Knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
