Director – IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell)Reports To: Chairperson – IQAC / Principal / Director General / Management Location: Accurate Group of Institutions, Greater Noida Position Summary: The Director–IQAC is responsible for planning, guiding, and monitoring the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) activities of the institution. The role involves getting approval / affiliation from NBA / NAAC / autonomous status and NIRF certification of education institute. Develop a culture of continuous improvement in academic, administrative, and co-curricular processes to meet NAAC, NBA, AICTE, and other accreditation standards. The incumbent ensures institutional quality benchmarking, internal audits, documentation, and policy implementation aligned with national and international quality parameters. Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Planning & Policy Formulation - Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Assurance framework aligned with institutional vision, mission, and goals. - Formulate quality policies, strategies, and operational plans to ensure continuous improvement. - Coordinate with management and academic heads for institutional strategic development. 2. Accreditation & Compliance - Prepare, manage, and oversee all accreditation-related processes including NAAC, NBA, AICTE, NIRF, and other statutory requirements. - Ensure timely preparation and submission of AQARs (Annual Quality Assurance Reports) and Self-Study Reports (SSR). - Maintain and monitor compliance with regulatory bodies like AICTE, UGC, affiliating university, etc. - Liaise with accreditation agencies and organize assessment visits. 3. Quality Monitoring & Auditing - Establish and implement internal quality assurance mechanisms for academic and administrative units. - Conduct Internal Academic and Administrative Audits (AAA) periodically and prepare evaluation reports. - Design performance indicators and benchmarks for departments and monitor outcomes. 4. Data Management & Documentation - Develop an institutional data management system (MIS/Dashboard) for tracking quality parameters. - Maintain systematic documentation of institutional activities, feedback, and reports for audit and accreditation. - Ensure data integrity and evidence-based reporting. 5. Teaching-Learning & Research Enhancement - Promote innovative teaching-learning methodologies and outcomes-based education (OBE). - Facilitate faculty development programs, workshops, and seminars on quality enhancement. - Encourage and monitor faculty and student research, publications, patents, and consultancy. 6. Institutional Best Practices & Benchmarking - Identify, document, and disseminate institutional best practices. - Benchmark institutional performance against national and international standards. - Coordinate with different committees and departments to adopt global best practices. 7. Training & Capacity Building - Organize training programs on quality assurance, accreditation, and institutional development. - Build internal capacity among faculty and staff on quality documentation and evaluation. 8. Reporting & Communication - Submit periodic reports to management and statutory bodies on quality initiatives. - Ensure transparency and effective communication of IQAC activities across departments. - Prepare presentations, minutes, and action plans from IQAC meetings. Qualifications & Experience:Educational Qualification: - Ph.D. in a relevant discipline from a recognized university (preferred). - Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent in a relevant field. Experience: - Minimum 10–15 years of experience in higher education, with at least 5 years in academic administration, quality assurance, or accreditation processes. - Proven experience in NAAC/NBA/AICTE/NIRF processes and institutional audits. Skills & Competencies: - Strong understanding of national and international quality frameworks (NAAC, NBA, NIRF / AUTONOMOUS STATUS FOR INSTITUTE). - Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills. - Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and use of MIS tools. - Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative departments. -
