Hi Greetings of the Day We have a critical opening with our client for SOC Manager role for Bangalore and Chennai location Experience 8 to 12 yrs Location Bangalore Chennai WFO Mode of Employment Permanent Job description Role Summary The SOC Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Center This role leads a team of analysts engineers and incident responders to monitor detect respond to and mitigate security threats across the organization The SOC Manager ensures effective threat intelligence incident response and compliance with security policies and standards Responsibilities 1 Lead and manage the SOC team including hiring mentoring training and performance evaluations 2 Oversee the design implementation and tuning of security monitoring tools SIEM EDR IDS IPS etc 3 Manage and coordinate incident response activities including triage analysis containment eradication and recovery 4 Develop document and maintain SOC processes procedures and runbooks 5 Monitor security events and trends providing regular reports and briefings to leadership 6 Collaborate with IT legal compliance and other departments to ensure effective security operations 7 Maintain and improve threat detection and response capabilities 8 Lead root cause analysis for significant incidents and drive continuous improvement 9 Ensure SOC operations meet internal and external compliance requirements e g ISO 27001 NIST GDPR etc 10 Participate in security audits and assessments Prerequisites Preferred Qualifications Industry certifications such as CISSP CISM GCIA GCIH or similar Experience working in regulated environments e g finance healthcare Hands-on experience with cloud security monitoring AWS Azure GCP Knowledge of scripting Python PowerShell for automation in SOC environments Qualification -B Sc B Tech BE BCA MCA Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 10 Years of experience in Security and IT Infrastructure About CIEL HR Ciel HR marks the return of HR visionaries to the HR Services industry powered by technology and analytics The Founders of Ma Foi the pioneer of the HR services sector in India along with some of the finest brains in the HR Services Industry have envisioned and built the firm CielHR to deliver the full range of Recruiting services from Executive Search Recruitment Process Outsourcing and Staffing Permanent as well as Temporary roles through its offices in India and the Middle East Website Role really excits you kindly share resume to sonali s cielhr com Regards Sonali
