What You Will Be Doing
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will help design, develop, and deploy scalable ML systems and services that power consumer experiences across Glance platforms. You will work closely with Data Scientists and cross-functional teams to drive ML solutions from ideation to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement end-to-end ML pipelines for experimentation, model development, and deployment.
- Build microservices and APIs to serve ML models and AI-driven features.
- Design and develop proof-of-concepts and scalable AI/ML-based products.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and content (newsroom) teams to define, test, and launch new ML features.
- Explore and integrate new tools, platforms, algorithms, and ML frameworks.
- Own project delivery with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Document solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
What Were Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an ML Engineer, with a track record of delivering real-world ML solutions.
- Strong background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics (Bachelors, Masters, or PhD).
- Proven ownership of end-to-end ML projects, from prototype to production.
- Solid experience working with Recommender Systems and personalization.
- Proficiency in Python, Golang, Spark, and related open-source ML/data frameworks.
- Strong understanding of statistics, algorithms, and applied math.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
- Experience in a research-driven or data science-intensive environment is a plus.
