Job Description The ideal candidate is a self-motivated multitasker and a demonstrated team player. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users, as well as developing server-side logic, defining and maintaining the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. You should have recent working experience in Node.js writing REST APIs or server-side scripts, and programs. Responsibilities - Design and develop efficient and reusable Node.js modules and microservices. - Working experience with Node.js, relational databases, NoSQL databases, SQL queries, and any major cloud service (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Develop server-side logic using industry standards and best practices. - Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic. - Implement security and data protection measures. - Design and implement data storage solutions. - Build robust APIs to support a wide variety of applications. Requirements - Knowledge of other server-side languages and programming frameworks is a huge plus. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in any engineering or computer course. - 5+ years of relevant work experience. - Strong proficiency with JavaScript and ES6+ features. - Experience with modern frameworks and libraries such as Express.js . - Experience with asynchronous programming and Promises. - Familiarity with server-side testing frameworks. - Understanding of RESTful services and API design. - Experience with relational and NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to mentor and lead junior developers when necessary. - Familiarity with message-broker systems (e. g., RabbitMQ, Kafka). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
