Every day ANDRITZ continues to deliver successful innovative solutions to our customers globally Why are we so successful Because we are passionate and love what we do We are at the forefront of future engineering technologies with solutions that ensure the success of our clients in key industries that are shaping the future of the world we live in General Description Under the general direction of the Vice President-O M the incumbent is responsible for day-to-day operational backup support troubleshoot maintenance of a hydro power plant This candidate will have to work independently under minimal supervision be comfortable in working with client s team conducting analysis to highlight areas for improvement Thie ideal candidate should have experience in Operation Maintenance of hydro power plants of atleast 50 MW capacity The candidate should also be experience in erection commissioning maintenance of hydro power plants of atleast 50 MW capacity WHAT YOU LL DO Write the purpose for which the job exists The day-to-day operational backup support of a large hydro project Accountable for the healthiness and troubleshoot of Plant Electrical System Working knowledge of Automation system Maintenance troubleshoot of electrical panels instruments and equipments installed in Turbine Main Inlet Valve Oil Pumping Station etc Maintenance troubleshoot of electrical panels instruments and equipments installed in like Cooling Water System Drainage and Dewatering System Compressed Air System etc Working knowledge of mechanical system like Turbine Main Inlet Valve Hydraulic System Mechanical auxiliaries like Cooling Water System Drainage and Dewatering System Compressed Air System etc Manage the maintenance team and associated functions to ensure compliance with all appropriate local state applicable laws and regulations Accountable for the development of long and short-range maintenance plans with the clients team Support the Client s team in maintenance planning in relation to plant outages analyzing material needs and overseeing the writing of requisitions for materials and equipment Plans and coordinates with the Client s team plant maintenance and inventory requirements as required to maximize plant availability and optimize cost effectiveness Prepares and maintains accurate plant documentation maintenance checklist observation sheet preventive maintenance plan etc to assure proper historical records and reporting of plant maintenance is completed Preparation and review of root cause analysis reports tripping report annual maintenance report monthly MIS Provides emergency 24-hour on-call emergency support and ensures emergency support is provided for plant needs YOU RE GOOD AT Write the details of the core area of expertise required to possess by the candidate A thorough understanding of erection commissioning and installation of hydro power plant including maintenance requirements Must have the ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings related to Electrical System and automation system Must have knowledge of PLCs working and trouble shooting Knowledge of power generating Electro-mechanical equipments including Hydro Turbine Preferably Francis Main Inlet Valve Preferably Butterfly Valve Hydraulic System and associated auxiliary and support Balance of Plant equipment Experienced with use of Microsoft Office tools with emphasis on Excel Word Power Point and MS Project Knowledge skills and abilities to perform and or plan complex maintenance assignments in mechanical electrical and controls disciplines Knoledge of operation Maintenance of GIS Transformers Must have HSE knowledge safeguarding employees improving productivity and maintaining a sustainable environment in workplaces YOU BRING Experience Qualifications Provide information about knowledge required to delve into this role Minimum Qualification Regular B E B Tech Electrical Engineering Instrumentation Engineering Electrical Electronics Engineering Power Engineering from reputed government private autonomous institiute recognised under AICTE New Delhi Overall 05 - 10 years of experience in a hydro power plant out of which a minimum 02 - 05 years of experience in maintenance of Plant not less than 50 MW capacity Should have experience of erection commissioning installation O M in hydro power plants of 50 MW capacity Adept at managing maintenance of various equipments for reducing downtime and enhancing operational effectiveness of equipment PREFERRED Information about the knowledge required for the job which is not mandatory to possess Microsot office tool MS Projects YOU LL WORK WITH Provide details pertaining to the reporting structure Direct Indirect Reporting will be Direct - To Plant Head All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex sexual orientation gender identity national origin or disability Requisition ID 16363
