Job Description Our client, a multinational company in Pharma domain is seeking candidates for SAP IBP Consultant role for their Bangalore location. SAP IBP Consultant Work Location- Bangalore Work Mode- 2 days in office Work Timings:-2pm to 10:30pm (flexible you can login earlier and logout earlier) Project Duration:- 1 year (extendable) Position Summary: SAP Supply Chain Planning functional Consultant is an important position in the ERP team where you will have the opportunity to partner with key stakeholders, architects and ensure timely delivery of compliant quality solutions in area of Supply chain planning processes in S4 PPDS, IBP & CPI-DS Responsibilities: The primary purpose of this job is to monitor & troubleshoot issues in daily required processes, deliver enhancements, and system fixes in SAP (RICEFW) when required to enhance business functionality. - Responsible for overall release management in SAP related to Supply chain planning processes including but not limited to IBP, sales and operation planning, supply planning, production planning/detailed scheduling (PPDS), inventory planning, etc. - SAP Supply Chain Planning consultant capable to provide solutions to complex medium term (tactical) and operational planning methodologies. - Work with business stakeholders, architects, and implementation partners to enable business outcomes and ensure optimal functionality of SAP. - Provide technical guidance and effort estimates on new solutions to optimize business expansion, ensure they are well documented and simple to understand. - Provide support for ongoing operations and identify opportunities to improve processes. - Responsible for change management communication, accountable for user acceptance tests and documentation prior to going live, and post go-live production support handover. - Ensure adherence to global SAP design and architecture and participate in architecture review boards as needed. - Responsible for ensuring all changes/enhancements meet required quality and compliance requirements (GxP, SOX) Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics or Engineering - Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and configuring solutions (RICEFW) in area ofSupply chain planning processes using IBP. - Detailed hands-on / customizing knowledge of SAP IBP, S4 (MM/PP) and S4 ePPDS is a must. - Knowledge of APO, ePPDS, S4, SAP IBP, and SAP HANA Enterprise is a pre-requisite. - Good understanding in the following areas: Sales and Operation planning, Demand planning, Production planning/Detailed Scheduling, Deployment Planning, and Inventory Planning. - Good understanding of SAP IBP modules (Response and Supply, Inventory, Sales and Operation Planning, Supply Chain Control Tower), and integration with S/4 HANA. - Actively contributing to daily support with focus on SAP IBP, SAP ePPDS module in S/4 HANA including Incident management, Change management, and Problem management - Solid understanding and practical experience in incident and ChaRM process as well as in management of external service provider - Experience in development/configuration/solution evaluation/validation and deployment. - Good analytical and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively both verbally and with written communications. - Ability to listen, hear, and translate complex business requirements in simple easy to understand language. - Capable of managing multiple projects and competing requirements with good time management skills. - Ability to document, validate, challenge business requirements and translate them into functionalIT specifications. And select the correct solution (direction) that corresponds with the functional specifications. - Strong customer focus, result-oriented and drive for excellence. Functional Skills: - Knowledge and understanding of IBP and SAP ePPDS module and integration of IBP to S/4. - Non-Negotiable: Detailed understanding of IBP Modules and good understanding of planning business processes as it relates to Demand and Supply. - For the purpose of fulfilling business needs, IBP (Demand & Supply) & ePPDS solution design and development experience isneeded. - Experience designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting supply chain management products from SAP is a must for understanding supply chain planning concepts and processes. - At least 1-2 implementations and 3-5 years of relevant experience in SAP IBP (includes integration with S/4 HANA and S4 PPDS). - Knowledge in conducting unit tests, system integration tests (SIT), and troubleshooting issues related to PPDS/ePPDS configuration. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including SAP MM, SD, QM, and WM to ensure integrated planning and scheduling processes. - Expertise in managing changes to PPDS configuration based on new requirements, system upgrades, or process improvements. Area Of Expertise: - SAP S/4HANA PPDS or ePPDS Expertise - Hands-on experience with S/4HANA PPDS or ePPDS tools and methodologies, with knowledge of the latest trends and updates in SAP production planning. - Implementation & Configuration: Expertise in implementing and configuring PPDS in S/4HANA or ePPDS systems, ensuring alignment with manufacturing and business processes. - Production Scheduling: Proficient in creating and managing detailed production schedules, optimizing resources, and ensuring effective material management within production processes. - Master Data Management: Strong knowledge of integrating and managing master data elements such as production versions, work centers, routing, and bill of materials (BOM). - Heuristic and Optimization Configuration: Setting up planning heuristics, defining and optimizing planning methods, and configuring the integrated planning with advanced algorithms. Additional Skills/Preferences - Good understanding of business processes in the Life sciences/Pharmaceutical domain and compliance with GxP. - Knowledge in: SAP modules of Materials Management (P2P), Production Planning (PP) and Sales and Distribution (O2C). - SAP Certification - SAP Integrated Business Planning - APICS certification preferred.
