Job PurposeTo monitor and execute predictive maintenance in co-ordination with operation and other maintenance departments for maint planning reduction in break down and reduce maint cost so as to achieve trouble free operation of the Plant Job Context Major ChallengesJob Context Mechanical department role is to maintain trouble free running of all Mechanical equipment s in the plant utilizing available resources stringent breakdown and maintenance cost targets Department has to comply all the different standards of Quality Safety and Environment adopted by the unit Major Challenges The job requires analytical and monitoring skill with advance predictive maintenance practices to detect predict equipment abnormalities before disaster to keep break down and maintenance cost within budget Execution of break down and shut down jobs so as to complete within planned time Key Result Areas KRA Accountabilities Max 1325 Characters Supporting Actions Max 1325 Characters KRA1 Mechanical Maintenance Execution of Mechanical maintenance activities to achieve trouble free operation Execution of jobs in shut down and breakdown as per planning Effective utilization of man power so as job completed within time Co-ordination with production and concerned dept during shut down and break down Maintain cleanliness after maintenance activities KRA2 Predictive maintenance Monitoring and execution of predictive maintenance to reduce break down and maint cost Execution of condition monitoring of equipment s as per schedule and requirement Identify various abnormalities in rotating equipment s and suggest proper solution Identify and execution of Dynamic balancing of Blower s Prepare recording of Vibration Bearing condition Temp of reactors as per schedu le for trending and decision making Calculate and record MTBF MTTR of equipment s for maint improvement KRA3 System Management Implementation of maintenance management system to perform quality maintenance Documentation to fulfil compliance of ISO TS 16949 2002 ISO 14001 Follow procedure work instruction related to Mech maint during break down and planned maint Participation in Internal and External Auditing System Preparation of procedure and work instruction related to mechanical maint required b y system KRA4 Safety Implement safety procedure and legal compliance to create safe working condition Documentation to fulfil compliance of OHS 18001 Execution of pressure vessel testing for statutory requirement Importing of on job safety training Execution of of scaffolding preparation As per check list Task observation of workmen during critical job for assurance of safe working KRA5 Training and Development Participate in teams through various initiatives to raise competency level Participation in QC KSS 5S WCM activities and dept meeting Imparting training on various predictive maint activities Clarify work procedure on shop floor
