Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for an Aladdin Rule Coder located in Mumbai. The Aladdin Rule Coder will be responsible for writing and maintaining code, developing and integrating Aladdin rules, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient and effective solutions. Daily tasks will include coding, testing, implementation, and documentation to meet specified requirements and ensure system functionality and performance.

Qualifications

Experience:7 8 years

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret investment compliance rules and implement them in Aladdins coding environment

Collaborate with global compliance and business leads to codify guidelines and validate logic

Conduct unit testing and functional testing to verify accurate rule performance

Troubleshoot rule failures and discrepancies during testing cycles

Maintain documentation of rule logic, test results, and resolution steps

Support timely delivery of coding milestones in coordination with broader QA and implementation teams.

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in investment compliance coding, trade rule validation, or related OMS/EMS work.

Rule work and Macro logic.

Hands-on experience with Aladdin or comparable OMS platforms (e.g., Bloomberg AIM, Charles River)

Strong attention to detail and ability to translate complex policy language into executable code

Prior exposure to asset management, financial services, or investment banking environments preferred

Proven ability to work across time zones and communicate with global teams effectively
