Reach Education Pvt. Ltd. is an educational services firm based in Mumbai, India. Founded by HBS (MBA 10) and CMU (Tepper 03) alum Vibha Kagzi, we are a premium higher education advisory firm helping students target top-tier schools internationally.

Through ReachIvy.com, we are now building a next-gen AI-powered, voice-first guidance product that leverages cutting-edge technologies to democratize career and education access.

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our core team and drive the development of our AI-first product. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across both frontend and backend development, while being comfortable working with AI integrations, voice/speech workflows, and cloud deployment.

This is a chance to build from the ground up and shape a product that redefines student career guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development

- Design and develop scalable web applications (frontend + backend) for our AI-driven platform.
- Implement responsive, modern, and user-friendly UIs (React, Next.js, Tailwind, etc.).
- Build secure and performant backend APIs and services (Node.js, FastAPI, Django, or similar).

AI & Voice Integration

- Integrate AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, Whisper, ElevenLabs, Hugging Face, vLLM, etc.) into production workflows.
- Work closely with AI/ML engineers to embed speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and conversational AI modules into the product.

Architecture & Infrastructure

- Design an end-to-end system architecture that supports real-time voice-first interactions.
- Implement authentication, role-based access, and scalable database solutions (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, vector databases, etc.).
- Optimize performance and cost by leveraging cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

Collaboration & Product Mindset

- Partner with product managers, AI engineers, and designers to translate vision into seamless user experiences.
- Participate in product roadmap discussions, bringing a technical perspective to innovation and feasibility.

Continuous Improvement

- Own CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and deployment workflows.
- Stay updated with emerging frameworks, tools, and best practices to keep the tech stack future-proof.

Requirements

Must-Have

- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 36 years of experience building full-stack applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript/Python and frameworks like React, Next.js, Node.js.
- Experience building and scaling backend APIs (REST, GraphQL, FastAPI, Django, or Express).
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL + NoSQL) and system design.
- Cloud deployment expertise (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and security best practices.

Nice-to-Have

- Exposure to AI/ML or conversational AI frameworks.
- Experience with voice technologies (ASR, TTS, conversational flows).
- Familiarity with MLOps, vector databases, or LLM integrations.
- Startup or fast-paced product-building experience.
- Experience/exposure to PHP
