Job Description Job Title: Credit Manager Location:Maharashtra: Pune Karnataka: Bangalore, Yelahanka & Chanapattna Total Position Open: 5 Budget: Upto 5 LPA Key Responsibilities 1. Assess Home Loan / LAP / SME proposals by analyzing income documents, bank statements, financials, credit bureau reports, and repayment capacity. 2. Conduct PD, field visits, profile verification, and evaluate applicant credibility as per credit policy. 3. Coordinate with legal and technical teams to validate property documents, valuation, and ensure all checks meet NBFC and RBI-compliance standards. 4. Identify risks, fraud indicators, deviations, and provide clear recommendations for approval/rejection while maintaining portfolio quality. 5. Ensure timely login-to-sanction process, validate KYC/document completeness, and maintain TAT in coordination with sales and operations teams. 6. Track branch/region portfolio, highlight early warning signals, and support collections team for overdue or high-risk cases when required. 7. Maintain proper documentation, ensure audit readiness, and prepare MIS on sanctions, rejections, risk observations, and deviations. Required Skills & Competencies - Strong understanding of NBFC credit underwriting processes. - Ability to analyse financial statements and assess creditworthiness. - Knowledge of property verification, legal & technical evaluation. - Good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. - Sound judgement and decision-making capability. - Proficiency in MS Office and credit evaluation systems. Qualifications & Experience - MBA in Finance or related fields. - 38 years of experience in credit underwriting in NBFC. - Experience in affordable housing or secured lending is preferred.
