Company Marsh Description Mercer is seeking candidates to join our Claims Service team based in the Pune Mumbai office This is a hybrid role that requires working in the office at least three days a week Specialist - Claims Service Grade C1 What can you expect Excellent exposure to complex diverse claims handling Opportunity to enhance Claims knowledge and understanding build on client management this role Within the first 30 days we expect you to gain good understanding of the role and requirement that it entails Within 60 days attain competency have a good understanding of process and systems finally within 90 days be able to handle the claim processing with limited support We will count on you to Client Service Management Processing and Submission of First Notice of Loss to the Carriers Monitoring and filing responses from Carriers and following up as necessary Liaison with Carriers Internal Stakeholders Liaise with Advocacy team to resolve all queries in order to send out the FNOL within stipulated timelines Provide ideas and suggestions for improving working methods taking into account client and member experience where appropriate implement and document to line manager for adoption across the business Compliance Regulatory and Procedural Responsibilities Ensure that all statutory regulations and company procedures are followed to protect clients colleagues and the business interest of the company Appropriate usage of Marsh Speciality s systems to monitor record and retain information Demonstrate clear understanding of regulatory requirements Proactively ensures compliance with regulatory and risks framework Adheres to policies guidelines and operating procedures Keeps own knowledge and expertise up to date and relevant Identifies and evaluates risks appropriately Recognises how own actions impact on compliance What you need to have 3 years of work experience Graduate in any stream Fair understanding of Insurance Broking business and dynamics Good command over spoken and written English Superior comprehension and articulation skills Ability to prioritise and organise tasks work within stiff timelines Eye for detail and innovative mindset What
