Job Code: BTL-2510101 Job title: ServiceNow Test Engineer - Automation Practice Experience: 7+ Years Location: Hyderabad (Work From Office) About the Role: We need a detail-oriented automation contractor to enhance our team. This role is responsible for all testing, test tool development, and configuration management activities, requiring 7+ years of hands-on Selenium experience using a programming language. The candidate will provide industry-leading test automation frameworks and strategies. Responsibilities: - Create, develop, maintain, and test automation frameworks. - Scale, orchestrate, and accelerate test automation for open-source and proprietary tools. - Scale automated testing, test case management, and QA & Dev collaboration. - Design, develop, and execute automation scripts tailored to project requirements. - Collaborate with Technical Product Managers, Functional Testing Engineers, Developers, and other stakeholders to identify automatable user stories and perform feasibility analysis. - Provide detailed documentation for automation, reusable components, workflows, and maintenance guidelines. - Monitor and maintain automation pipeline executions in Jenkins and address issues promptly. - Demonstrate familiarity with system integration and process optimisation methodologies. - Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing efforts. - Troubleshoot and debug test scripts to improve test coverage and reliability. - Ensure all test environments are properly configured and available for testing activities. - Execute automated test cases for each release, analyse results, and report defects to the development team. - Report and document periodic status to QA management. Your skills and experience: - 7+ years' experience in test automation for mobile and web applications. - 5 - 6 years' experience in large organisations. - Ability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively. - Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium Java. - Strong understanding of programming languages like Java, JavaScript, and Python. - Familiarity with API testing tools such as POSTMAN or RestAssured ServiceNow ATF. - Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC). - Working knowledge of AI-generated test automation development and maintenance.
