SYSTRA is one of the world s leading engineering and consulting groups specializing in public transport and mobility solutions For over 65 years the Group has been committed to helping cities and regions develop by creating improving and modernizing their transport infrastructure and systems Context Our engineers work with passion to deliver the most reliable cost-effective and made-to measures solutions allowing end users to move seamlessly SYSTRAs unique expertise is backed with a reputation built through technical excellence delivered on projects Thanks to our know-how of our employees spread across India we are present at all stages from upstream studies to operation and maintenance We provide a comprehensive solution to manage all kinds of missions Detailed Design Consultant Project Management Independent checking services SYSTRA Indias comprehensive know-how and expertise in Railways provides a wide spectrum of solutions for any challenge Building a new rail link doubling the capacity gauge conversion upgrading a network improving the performance of existing lines etc Our extensive experience encompasses Bridges station buildings Depots Earthwork Track Works Power Supply and Transmission Signaling Telecommunications Rolling Stock Utilities diversion and yard re-modelling etc Our services cover the entire life cycle of the project implementation Currently we are bidding for Metro projects across India The position of Senior Expert is the key position in these BIDs Missions Main Duties Provide deep technical knowledge and advice in their area of specialization e g civil engineering electrical systems signaling rolling stock project management Review and validate designs methodologies and implementation plans prepared by contractors or consultants Ensure compliance and project-specific standards and guidelines Conduct technical audits and inspections to maintain quality throughout various project stages Assess project risks related to their domain of expertise and recommend effective mitigation strategies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including contractors project managers consultants and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution Act as a liaison between the client and contractors consultants to address specific technical concerns Train and mentor junior engineers project managers and other technical staff to build organizational capacity Prepare detailed technical reports risk assessments and project documentation for senior management and stakeholders Provide regular updates on progress challenges and recommendations in their area of expertise Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety Profile Skills Graduate in Civil Engineering Electrical Architecture Mechanical with minimum of 15 years in railway or railway related industry out of which at least two metro projects Advanced knowledge in their domain of expertise such as tunneling viaduct construction signaling or rolling stock integration Familiarity with relevant software tools such as AutoCAD STAAD Pro Primavera or specialized industry applications Awareness of safety protocols environmental considerations and sustainability practices Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders including contractors engineers and policymakers Comprehensive understanding of metro and railway industry standards codes and regulations Experience in liaising with regulatory authorities for approvals and compliance We commit to put people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency As we are growing this is time to be a part of this challenging adventure Its not a job - its a career
