Job Role : Senior Backend Engineer – Cloud, Data & Integration Services Experience : 5 to 8 Years Work Location : Hyderabad & Bangalore Mode of Work : Hybrid Shift Type : PST Timings Job Type : Permanent Notice Period : 0-25 Days (Max 30 Days) Job Description We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer – Cloud, Data & Integration Services with strong expertise in backend development, cloud architecture, and data integration. This role demands hands-on experience with .NET, Microsoft Azure, Apache Spark, Kubernetes, and deep knowledge of integrating backend services with Azure Data Lake. Cosmos DB experience is mandatory, along with solid SQL skills for data querying and transformation. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable backend services using .NET Core / .NET Framework. Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. Design and optimize distributed data processing pipelines using Apache Spark. Deploy and manage microservices using Kubernetes. Integrate backend systems with Azure Data Lake for efficient data storage and analytics. Work extensively with Cosmos DB for high-performance, globally distributed data solutions. Write and optimize SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, DevOps, and frontend developers. Ensure backend services are secure, performant, and reliable. Participate in agile development processes, code reviews, and architecture discussions. Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in .NET Core / .NET Framework. Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Functions, Data Lake, Event Grid, etc.). Hands-on experience with Cosmos DB (mandatory). Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts. Experience with Apache Spark for big data processing. Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration. Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend integrations. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps tools. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Excellent analytical and communication skills. 5 to 6 years of relevant industry experience. Preferred Qualifications Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect). Experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, or other big data platforms.
