To meet the requirements of the business, the candidate will actively participates in the design and architecture of the application or its components propose appropriate solution to use and promotes re-usability of existing components. - The candidate will be part of the transformation program of the company and key to internalize the knowledge. - The candidate should havedeep knowledge of systems and applications under Candidate/applicant control to define their evolution, evaluate the impact of regulations or new business requirements, manage the changes and collaborate in the analysis and implementation of approved projects. Candidate will also participate in the application maintenance tasks. - The candidates will work on applications based on mainframe technology (JCL/Cobol/Cics/DB2/MQ). Your skills and experience Position Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities Senior Engineer will cover - Knowledge internalization - Functional design, technical design and programming - New projects, enhancements and maintenance of a specific for a set of applications - IT Application Life Cycle standards are met in ongoing enhancements and maintenance - Application changes are aligned with the application strategy - Identification and management of risk and issues associated with the application - Maximum operational availability and stability - Cost efficiency People Management - The candidates must have demonstrated proficiency in working with global and local teams, managing vendors and/or 3rd parties. - The candidates will be able to work in a collaborative environment, organized in scrum, therefore scrum master experience or scrum working is desirable. Experience - 8+ years in development and maintenance of banking business applications. Education/ Qualifications - Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, IT or similar. Master recommended - English proficiency required - Experience and knowledge of banking business and its operations - Knowledge and experience in systems and end-to-end processes related to financial agents and intermediaries - Experience in JCL/Cobol/Cics/DB2/MQ analysis and programming is a must - Experience in application solutions from technological perspective.
