Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Finance Executive to manage billing operations and ensure compliance with Indian taxation regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GST, TDS, invoicing, and revenue recognition, along with hands-on experience in managing customer billing cycles and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Revenue Management

Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in line with contract terms and SLAs.

Coordinate with sales, operations, and delivery teams to ensure timely billing and revenue recognition.

Maintain billing trackers, follow-up on unbilled revenue, and ensure closure within the month.

Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client queries promptly.

Indian Taxation Compliance

Ensure compliance with GST, including invoice format, tax rates, place of supply, and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns.

Manage TDS deductions, payment, and filing of TDS returns (Form 26Q/27Q).

Support statutory and internal audits, including preparation of audit schedules and reconciliations.

Liaise with consultants and government authorities for assessments, notices, and tax-related clarifications.

General Finance Support

Assist in monthly closing activities related to revenue and taxation.

Maintain documentation for all billing and tax filings for audit readiness.

Provide MIS reports related to billing, taxation, and collection status.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CMA Inter

Experience: 46 years in finance with hands-on exposure to billing, invoicing, and Indian indirect and direct taxation

Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft NAV, Advanced Excel skills

Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian GST law, TDS, and corporate billing processes

Preferred Attributes

Experience working in IT/ITES, consulting, or services industry

Exposure to export invoicing and LUT handling under GST

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate across teams
