Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

Global Business Services is recognized for flawless execution, sound risk management, operational resiliency, operational excellence, and innovation.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview.

Global Banking & Markets division serves mid- to large-sized corporations and institutional clients worldwide. It is comprised of Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking, Global Corporate & Investment Banking, Global Markets and Wholesale Credit. Aligned with these client-facing groups are Global Capital Markets and Global Research. Wholesale Credit and Banking Technology (WCBT) under Global Business Banking comprises of technology for Commercial, Corporate and Investment Banking Customers of Bank of America across the globe. The team works closely with the business and strategic partners to architect, design and develop applications for the Global Wholesale Banking Line of Business.

Job Description.
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Strong business analysis experience - showing an ability to delve deep into an area and understand the implications of key design decisions and assert recommendations.

Responsibilities:

- Experience with Java, XML and SQL would be valuable
- Previous experience in AS400 iSeries web services would be preferred
- General understanding of the finance markets and environment
- Specific product knowledge of any of the following is beneficial: Loans processing, FX, commodities, debt products, credit derivatives, equities, and other derivative products
- Strong analysis skills
- Ideally experience of ACBS and Loan Operations business
- Experience in AS400 iSeries Web services.

Education.

B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA

Certifications (if any): NA

Experience Range.

10+ Years

Foundational Skills.

- 10+ years Functional and Technical knowledge of ACBS application.
- 10+ years of hands on Lansa/Lansa Integrator Development.
- 10+ years IBM System i (AS/400) development experience, including CL and RPG programming, Query/400 and SQL

Desired Skills.

- Good understanding of Operations technology solutions and the E2E business flows between the various functions in the back office.
- Track record of successful AGILE project delivery through strong analysis focus.
- Strong business analysis experience - showing an ability to delve deep into an area and understand the implications of key design decisions and assert recommendations.
- Proven delivery of more than one in-house build project, preferably in cross product and in an investment banking environment.
- Demonstrable contribution to strategic application design.
- Ability to work in a matrix managed environment and a proven delivery in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong collaboration skills working across boundaries and building strong, long term working relationships.
- Proficiency MS Office applications.
