Sales Engineer

Job Requirements: - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical sales or business development, preferably in the industrial, automation, or related sectors. Experience in Filtration Field preferred - Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. - Entry Into Pharma sector, mainly located in Gujarat. Job Description - Identify and develop new business opportunities in filtration systems across Gujarat. - Conduct market research and competitor analysis to position Gopani products effectively. - Generate leads, follow up on inquiries, and convert prospects into customers. - Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate filtration products (cartridge filters, bag filters, housings, etc.). - Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients, showcasing product capabilities. - Collaborate with the design and application engineering team to propose customized solutions. - Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including troubleshooting and training. - Attend industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to represent Gopani and expand network. - Maintain CRM records, sales forecasts, and activity reports. - Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, logistics, and customer service. Personal Attributes: - Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive approach to sales. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers. - High degree of integrity and professionalism. - The position requires extensive travel within Gujarat, including customer meetings, site visits, and industry events. Fluency in English is mandatory. Soft Skills Requirements: (List required interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and other soft skills.) - Strong technical aptitude - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Strong problem-solving and customer service skills. - Proficient in MS Office, CRM software, and other sales tools. - Willingness to travel extensively within the South India region. Educational Qualification: - Bachelor's degree in engineering (Preferably Mechanical or Chemical) - MBA in Sales/Marketing (optional).
