Job Description Description Regency Hospital hiring for Nursing Incharge Department:Nursing Work Exp: 7 to 12 Years Work Location:Kanpur Qualification: B.SC (Nursing)/ GNM CTC: Best in the Industry Responsibilities To be responsible for the overall nursing care of all the patients in the hospital. To keep a watch and guide the nursing staff working in inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic and other areas. To ensure that the nursing staff observes and follows the standards of nursing procedures and also uses their initiative for any situation. To ensure by constant checks that no harm is done to patients through error or negligence on the part of the nursing staff. To constantly check that an emergency drug tray with necessary injection and drugs are available in each nursing station, operation theatre, injection room, etc. To ensure that all the types of equipment are in working condition and action initiated for repair/ replacement of items broken/ damaged/ lost/ needs repairers. To impress on the nursing staff the importance of compassion and good behavior and will time to time reprimand the defaulting nursing staff. To prepare the duty roster for all the nursing staff and plan for substitutes for day-offs and holidays/ leaves. To sort out the problems related to working conditions of nursing staff and guide them in their problems which may affect the hospital functioning. To keep a general watch on the cleanliness of the hospital & hospital linen etc. and where necessary will bring it to the notice of House Keeping Supervisors for rectification. To ensure that senior nursing staff carry out their supervisory and technical functions competently. To ensure proper maintenance of patient documents and hospital registers for smooth functioning of the hospital. A standing order for the nurses shall be prepared by the Nursing In charge converging various aspects of their functions as applicable to RHL and keep them up to date from time to time. The standing orders for Nurses shall include warning and preventive measures for possible negligence by nurses. To make daily visits to patients and occasionally make surprise rounds in the afternoon or nighttime. To submit daily reports regarding, admissions, discharges, and deaths to the administration/ Nursing Superintendent. Any death in the hospital will be immediately reported to the administration on the telephone. To accompany the Nursing Superintendent on rounds. To report to Centre Head/ HOD/ Director Administration daily about adverse events and sentinel event reporting. Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) or Diploma in Nursing. - Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Nursing Council of India. - Strong clinical skills and knowledge of patient care procedures. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Empathy and compassion towards patients and their families. - Basic life support (BLS) certification is preferred.
