Your key responsibilities

- ResponsiblefortheaccurateandtimelyproductionofdailyT+1P&Lproduction, attributionand analysis.
- ProvidingdailycommentaryandvarianceinvestigationtoFrontOfficetradersandseniorFinance managers
- Breakinvestigationand resolution:ModelvsActual(Ledger)Cash,FO/MOsystemvstradedocsetc
- MarketConformityCheckexceptionsresolution
- Balancesheetsubstantiation,i.e.obtaining requisite supports forGLaccountsinlinewithMRPpolicy FX Balance review
- ProductionofvariousMISreportsfortheabovebusinesseswithinagreedtimelines
- Performsmonthendcloseactivities-SAPjournals,reconciliations,balance sheet substantiationsand reporting
- PerformsQAfunction forprocesses withintheirteamsremit andregularlyassessestheeffectiveness of the checks
- EngageswithCTB/SME(ChangetheBank/SubjectMatterExpert)inordertodeliverchange
- First levelofescalationforteamissuesandforstakeholderescalation
- Managestheresolutionofproductreconciliationbreak/exceptionitemsinatimelymanner
- Processstandardizationacrossbusiness
- ProvidessummaryofKRI's fortheirbusinessareaandremediationplans whereSLA'sarebeingmissed and/or where issues exist
- Responsiblefor ensuringthatKOPsarereviewedforrelevanceandeffectivenessonatimelybasis
- Interactionwithglobalstakeholders&auditors.

Your skills and experience

- Anexperienceof5-7yearsinthecoreaccountingfunctionofanorganisationwouldbeanadvantage.
- Strong understandingoffinancialmarketproductssuchasLoans, Equities&OTC.
- Adaptableandculturallyaware.Experienceofworkinginaglobalenvironmentpreferable.
- Ensureteamworkcultureispracticed.
- Abilitytolearnquickly.
- Abilitytocommunicateeffectively(oral&written)&stronginterpersonalskills.
- Stronganalyticalandquantitativeskills.
- Well organized&abletoclearlypresentresultsofwork.
- Essentials Competent use of MS-Office - specifically Excel and Access
- Working with multiple data sources and having confidence in figures and presentation.
- Accuracy-drivenandabletoselfreviewreportsandotherdeliverableseffectively.
- Be comfortable & willing to drive process improvement.
- Be able to constructively challenge.
- Be inquisitive.
- Knowledge of SAP and programming skills helpful but not required. SAP need to be learned quickly though.
- Should be diligent, thorough, shows initiative and is proactive.
- ProvenabilitytoownanddevelopsuccessfulrelationshipswithRPL,OperationsandCSR
- Excellent team worker, able to work in virtual global teams and in a matrix organization
- Open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
- Flexibility regarding problem solving.
- Keeps pace with technical innovation and market driven initiatives and maintains a broad understandingof the GBS offering
- Strong interpersonal/good negotiations skills are required, in parts leadership
