Job Description Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual to join our specialty coffee shop team as a Customer Service Representative. With at least 1 year of experience in customer-facing roles, the ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional service, sharing coffee knowledge, and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. Key Responsibilities: Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly and assist them in making beverage and food selections. Provide personalized recommendations based on customer preferences and taste profiles. Order Management: Accurately take orders at the counter or through the POS system. Ensure orders are communicated clearly to the barista and kitchen teams. Handle payments, refunds, and loyalty program inquiries efficiently. Coffee Knowledge: Educate customers on specialty coffee offerings, origins, flavor notes, and brewing methods. Explain menu options, including signature drinks, seasonal specials, and food pairings. Upselling & Promotion: Suggest upgrades, pairings, or new products to enhance the customer experience. Promote merchandise, retail coffee beans, and special events. Customer Issue Resolution: Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. Escalate unresolved issues to the manager when necessary. Shop Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the customer area, including tables, counters, and restrooms. Restock supplies (napkins, cutlery, etc.) as needed. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the barista and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving service and customer satisfaction. Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a caf, restaurant, or coffee shop. Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about specialty coffee. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
