Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage civil engineering activities related to BTG and BOP areas ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure the availability of resources and materials for uninterrupted project execution Conduct site inspections to monitor progress identify potential issues and implement corrective actions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate civil works with mechanical and electrical systems Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards during all phases of construction and maintenance Prepare and review technical drawings specifications and reports to ensure alignment with project requirements Optimize resource utilization to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising quality Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff Support the Civil Section Incharge in planning and executing strategic initiatives for site development and operational efficiency Utilize digital tools and platforms for project tracking documentation and reporting Required Qualifications Experience Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering roles with a focus on BTG and BOP areas Proven track record in managing large-scale thermal power plant projects Qualifications Educational Background Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering mandatory Master s degree in Structural Engineering or Construction Management preferred Years Type of Experience 10 years of experience in civil engineering within the thermal power sector Hands-on experience in BTG and BOP area construction maintenance and project management
