We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data systems that support our analytics and business intelligence initiatives. You will lead a team of data engineers and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architecture.
- Lead the data engineering team in implementing best practices and methodologies.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to ensure efficiency and performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to maintain data integrity and reliability.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering.

Skills and Qualifications

- 11-17 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
- Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
