A PDI Pre-Delivery Inspection Technician at Royal Enfield is responsible for ensuring that motorcycles are in optimal condition before they are delivered to customers Here s a typical job description for this role Job Title PDI TechnicianLocation Royal Enfield Dealership Service CenterKey Responsibilities Pre-Delivery Inspection Conduct a thorough inspection of newly received motorcycles ensuring they meet the company s quality standards Check all the mechanical and electrical components such as the engine transmission brake system suspension and lighting Verify the functionality of various motorcycle features e g electrical systems battery tires and fuel system Engine and Systems Check Perform diagnostics and checks on the engine gearbox clutch and exhaust systems Ensure the engine is running smoothly with no unusual sounds or issues Safety and Compliance Ensure all safety features such as brakes indicators and horns are functioning correctly Confirm that all required documents including the warranty papers and registration forms are prepared and accurate Quality Assurance Perform test rides to check for smoothness and any possible performance issues Document any issues and coordinate with the service team to resolve them Documentation and Reporting Record all details related to the inspection and any actions taken in the service database Provide feedback to the management on quality or recurring issues during inspections Customer Communication Provide a detailed explanation of the vehicle inspection to customers if needed and address any concerns they may have Maintenance and Cleanliness Ensure motorcycles are clean and polished before delivery Maintain the workshop and tools in good condition Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 8 000 00 - 12 000 00 per month Work Location In person
