Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive Purchase Requisition PR reviews to ensure alignment with project specifications and budgetary requirements Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for Capex Opex bulk materials and services to meet operational needs Prepare and finalize contracts and order placements ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards Manage procurement through rate contracts to achieve cost efficiency and operational reliability Oversee post-order management including delivery tracking quality assurance and payment processing Identify onboard and manage supplier vendor relationships to ensure alignment with business objectives Monitor and evaluate supplier vendor performance using key metrics and analytics Foster supplier vendor engagement to build long-term mutually beneficial partnerships Utilize data analytics tools to identify procurement trends optimize sourcing strategies and mitigate risks Implement risk management practices to address supply chain vulnerabilities and ensure business continuity Qualifications Required Qualifications Experience Proven experience of 15 years in techno-commercial roles within the thermal power or energy sector Expertise in strategic sourcing procurement and vendor management for large-scale projects Demonstrated ability to manage complex contracts and negotiate favorable terms Educational Background Bachelor s degree in Engineering Mechanical Electrical preferred or equivalent MBA or postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain Management or Operations preferred
