Job Description - Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications with a focus on database interactions. - Create and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and understand application requirements. - Ensure data integrity and security through effective database management practices. - Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and performance bottlenecks. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Java development and database management. Qualifications - Experience in Java development with a focus on database integration. - Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate). - Strong experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. - Knowledge of SQL and database design principles. - Experience with database performance tuning and optimization. - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills - Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus. - Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL). - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
