We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager to join our team at BWE Job Purpose The Technical Manager ensures the technical excellence of boiler engineering projects, both in conceptual and detailed design. As the office highest technical reference, this role guarantees that engineering deliverables meet contractual requirements, international standards, company know-how, and best practices. The Technical Manager acts as a technical authority and key contributor providing expertise, guidance, and solutions to complex engineering challenges, ensuring quality and consistency across projects. Main Responsibilities - Boiler Design & Engineering Oversee boiler design from concept to detailed engineering Develop and review design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications. Ensure compliance with international and local codes (ASME, ISO, IBR). Participate in design risk assessments and propose solutions. - Technical Leadership Serve as the main technical reference for complex engineering issues. Lead and actively participate in design and model reviews to ensure operability. Support engineers in troubleshooting, design optimization, and validation of calculations. Review and approve key technical documentation to ensure cross-disciplinary alignment. - Project Execution Monitor compliance with engineering methodologies and company standards. Participate in coordination meetings with project management and other offices. Report project progress and budget status. Implement improvement opportunities and lessons learned from previous projects. Define and review core deliverables within the discipline, including: PFDs, P&IDs, Design Basis documents, Hydraulic and thermal calculation reports,Interface definitions, electrical load lists, Control valve specifications, equipment and instrumentation lists, Participation in HAZOP studies, Cause & Effect matrices, and operating manuals. - Technical Integrity & Methodology Ensure correct application of engineering methodologies and tools. Promote technical consistency and integrity across deliverables. Validate compliance with internal and external codes, standards, and regulations. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of engineering standards and guidelines. - Knowledge Transfer & Expert Support Act as the company’s technical authority in conceptual and detailed engineering. Provide mentorship and expert support to team leaders and engineers. Share technical expertise and promote best practices. Serve as the technical point of contact for clients, partners, and other offices. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). - Minimum 10 years of industry experience, including over 10 years leading technical aspects of biomass boiler design - Availability for occasional travel. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. - Location: - Noida (Delhi NCR)
