Job Description: Data Science & AI Lead Location: Bengaluru Experience: 7+ Years Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent in CS, Data Science, or related domain About the role: Responsible for designing and implementing data-driven solutions that leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identify data sources, and develop scalable and robust data science architectures. Responsibilities: - Develop and manage the strategic data science and AI roadmap in alignment with the company's goals and objectives - Lead a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and AI/ML specialists - Oversee the design, development, and deployment of data science and AI/ML models and applications - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, IT, product) to identify and prioritize data-driven initiatives - Define and implement robust data governance, quality, and security practices - Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of data science and AI/ML solutions - Analyze and interpret complex data to uncover insights and recommend data-driven strategies - Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels - Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in data science and AI - Mentor and develop the data science and AI/ML team members - Continuously improve data science and AI/ML processes and methodologies Requirements: - 7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or artificial intelligence, with at least 3 years in a leadership role - Proven track record of successfully delivering data-driven projects and solutions - Proficient in statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning techniques - Hands-on experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and data science/AI tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) - Strong understanding of cloud computing, data engineering, and software development lifecycles - Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities - Industry certifications in data science, machine learning, or AI/GenAI (e.g., AWS Certified Data Scientist, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer) - Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or other specialized AI domains - Experience in product development, project management, or business consulting
